Ακούσαμε το live album των Αυστραλών CROSSON με τίτλο “Live at the Orpheum”
Crosson come from Australia. They play glam rock / arena rock and they have a rather metal attitude. Crosson is the brainchild of Jason Crosson, who has Greek origins from Kastellorizo island.
Crosson could be described as an Australian mix of KISS and Motley Crue of the golden days. This said, the band emphasizes on the stage show, except, of course, from writing great and anthemic original glam rock/metal songs.
They have 2 female dancers on stage who also handle greatly the backing vocals. Dancers wear costumes according to the songs and they have made choreographies for pretty much the whole show.
These hot ladies are surely an attraction for the show of Crosson, but Mr. Jason Crosson himself is a fantastic front-man and he gets all eyes on him. Jason is very charismatic. He reminds us of the front-men of Motley Crue, Poison, even Guns n Roses of the Appetite for Destruction era, but with a rather own style. So his image is really imposing and 80’s worship.
On the other hand, Jason vocals are warm, sharp and edgy. He sings clearly, he sings very well, he has a nice tone and he puts a lot of emotion in what he is doing. At the end of the day, that’s what matters the most, ain’t it? Jason is lucky enough to also have a solid rock band with him. This band rocks really hard and steady and they rock really good!
Live at the Orpheum is a complete live show Crosson did in Australia at the Orpheum Theater. The electricity between the band and the audience is mythical! The set-list covers the whole 20 years of the band’s existence and guarantees to entertain everyone whether you know the songs or not. Crosson live shows are a huge party! Such a party could not be missing ABBA and Queen. So, Crosson covered “Money, Money, Money” and “We Will Rock You” respectively!
