Kyrenia Opera is deeply saddened by the loss of our cherished colleague, Chilean Tenor Leonardo Navarro
Leonardo’s remarkable journey began with his debut at the Municipal Theatre of Santiago at the age of 25. His talent then took him to Vienna, Austria, where he became a valued member of the Vienna State Opera. In 2022, Leonardo debuted the role of Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, and in 2023, he brought the character of Peppe to life in Pagliacci with Kyrenia Opera in Vienna.
We will forever cherish the memory of Leonardo’s beautiful, resonant tenor voice, his infectious smile, and his genuine warmth.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Leonardo’s family and loved ones.
Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be profoundly missed.
