As Vice President of Daughters Of Penelope Pallas Athena Vienna, I see firsthand the power of women coming together. We are more than just a community, we are a sisterhood, a force for change, and a source of strength for one another.
But let’s face it: the fight for gender equality is far from over. Did you know that at the current rate of progress, it will take 134 years to close the gender gap globally? That means we won’t see true equality in our lifetime. Our daughters and granddaughters might not either. That’s simply not acceptable.
Women who support women create unstoppable momentum. When we form alliances, lift each other up, and advocate for change, we move forward faster. This is why our work matters—why organizations like Daughters of Penelope are crucial in empowering women and strengthening our communities.
