Greek International Women Awards (GIWA) ceremony took place for the first time in Greece and will be broadcasted exclusively on ERT World on Sunday, November 5, 2023, starting a little past midnight, at 12:15 AM on November 6, 2023 (Athen’s time).
The purpose of these awards is to empower, recognize, and reward the actions and professional achievements of Greek women all over the world. These awards aim to acknowledge Greek women who, with their courage and abilities, have managed to influence and excel in all key areas.
In the fully packed theater, participants from the competition, accomplished Greek women, and distinguished guests from the realms of politics, business leadership, and the arts, warmly applauded the Greek women who participated in the prestigious GIWA event and were honored for their remarkable international achievements.
The ceremony was hosted by Katerina Gkagkaki. During the event, the attendees enjoyed beloved musical performances by internationally recognized artists Nina Lotsari and Katerina Mena (sopranos).
The ceremony will be available shortly thereafter on ERTFLIX for international audiences.
